How to Prepare your Mate
- Fill your mate cup (gourd) two-thirds full with quality yerba mate.
- Tilt the cup, add warm or cold water to moisten the yerba, and let it soak briefly.
- Insert the bombilla (metal straw) into the yerba, touching the bottom.
- Pour hot water at 70-82°C into the mate. Sip slowly without taking the bombilla in your hands.
- Refill with hot water for multiple servings, and share the mate with friends. Enjoy!
Cure your Calabash
Cure your Calabash
Curing gourd or wood mate cups is crucial. It seals cup pores, enhances mate flavor, and prevents mold formation.
How to Cure Your Calabash:
- Fill your mate cup with boiling water, wait 10 minutes, and empty it.
- Fill the cup with used or new yerba and warm water, ensuring it stays moist for 24 hours.
- Remove the yerba, lightly scrape the interior, and repeat the process min one more time.
- Rinse the mate cup and allow it to air dry.

How to Clean:
