The kit contains the gourd, a bombilla and 3x 50g test packs. (the 2x contains two times that amount) 


We offer different combinations of cups and straws, bombastica being the shorter straw and bomega being the longer one. 

How to Prepare your Mate

  1. Fill your mate cup (gourd) two-thirds full with quality yerba mate.
  2. Tilt the cup, add warm or cold water to moisten the yerba, and let it soak briefly.
  3. Insert the bombilla (metal straw) into the yerba, touching the bottom.
  4. Pour hot water at 70-82°C into the mate. Sip slowly without taking the bombilla in your hands.
  5. Refill with hot water for multiple servings, and share the mate with friends. Enjoy!
